Not a vet in sight
Disappointing Vlasic doesn’t seem to attend these ever when he will likely wear an A in the not so distant future I imagine

Should have mentioned he has been far from any of our teams worries this season just sad that it seems like none of our veteran players ever attend these it is always Bedard, Nazar, and the rest of the kids that are the only ones who consistently show up. If someone like Maroon doesn’t show up oh well but I feel like the standard should be higher for the captain and alternates instead they miss every single one of these. On one hand, not a great look.
On the other, Vlasic leads all Hawks in TOI by a wide margin.
I'd rather avoid burnout with him, so I'm willing to cut him some slack.

I think they were one of the oldest teams to start the season
Allan is not odd man out, they've been rotating the young guys this year to give them all a look to determine who is who for next year and beyond. You don't need to go full Musto here. Allan already played most of the season, they want to see what else they have. The don't need to sign any D in the offseason.
That group + Murphy and Crevier... they're set. Just let the kids play. The minutes will sort themselves out as they prove who deserves them the most. [obviously Brodie will be bought out]
No surprise, but Allan is the odd man out. Not only really bad this year, but a classic Stanley blunder and a remnant of the original Jones trade. Hard to see him ever working his way up the depth chart. Even when Murphy leaves, he'll still only be #8. And that's without factoring in future draft picks.
Don’t think that’s happening. He makes this team much more fun to watch, for better or worse. Despite his youthful gaffs he does make some nice defensive plays and can shut down a rush. Forward d competence is lacking.Levshunov needs to be sent back down the rest of the year, what are we doing
Think the plan is to burn a year, allow us to re-sign him sooner and for hopefully cheaper.Levshunov needs to be sent back down the rest of the year, what are we doing
the baseball nerds seem to be big on the value of manipulating service time and there isn't even a salary cap, not sure the hawks brass is right on this one tbh, the goal is to get 2x value or whatever on the aav of a player, easier to do when you have an elite player on an elc that wouldn't otherwise beThink the plan is to burn a year, allow us to re-sign him sooner and for hopefully cheaper.
That only applies if a contender has a player of that quality. The Hawks aren’t contending for awhile yet, so it’s not going to make a difference.the baseball nerds seem to be big on the value of manipulating service time, not sure the hawks brass is right on this one tbh, the goal is to get 2x value or whatever on the aav of a player, easier to do when you have an elite player on an elc that wouldn't otherwise be
