I hate Donato on Bedard's line so god damn much. It's the worst possible fit.

Let Donato put his head down and aimlessly shoot on the third line with someone like Mikheyev who has no offense anyway.

I wouldn't bother trying to boost Donato's value. He's played nearly 500 career NHL games at this point. What more is he going to do in 9 games to boost his value and to what? A 3rd to a 2nd? Yippie.

I'd be more concerned about building Bedard's confidence and putting him in the best position to do so.

Yup, zero offensive awareness, just stands there, gives no outlets to Bedard in the offensive zone, resulting in Bedard just skating around looking for someone to pass it to in a good shooting area.

The 1st line outplayed Oilers first line all night long but we still hear the whining because Bedard supposedly has poor linemates.. TT did not have a problem finding Donato lurking in the slot.

Yes, Bobby, we do watch the games. Donato is a straight line player with tunnel vision 90% of the time. That's why his career high in points is 32 and his career-high in goals is 16. He should not be on anyone's first line.
