he's 22 and in his first full nhl season, so you'll excuse the imprecise language. could have said "player" rather than "prospect" and it would have still applied. the young players you want them to bury and devalue even further are also the young players you want them to trade the most.

But where did he get those 5on5 points? More playing with the 4th liner types because they battled and won pucks with physical play.
Is he going to produce more with guys who get the puck or not? He's mainly producing when he is in that spot.

We don’t talk about it much but Foligno is mostly invisible or bad this year outside of his leadership and face punching moments. I still wouldn’t take him out of the top 9 though I feel he should be on the ice more than that as captain.

Both better than Reichel.
Mik is the best defensive forward on the team, and a great forechecker.
Foligno plays with a physical edge Reichel couldn't dream of.
Reichel doesn't deserve play time over those two.

I've about given up on Reichel at this point, but I'd still try one more pairing with him to see if there is anything there.
Why not give him a 5-game stretch with Nazar to see how their speed pairs well? Throw TT on the other wing and it would probably be about the only time he's played with guys who have speed and aren't complete black holes offensively.

TDL move Martinez and Donato then drop Moore and Rinzel in the line up for a few weeks. Let the kids roll
Moore and Rinzel will still be playing at Minnesota come the trade deadline. There’s a very good chance their season doesn’t end until the hawks have 2 games left
