I never said 40 point player. I said he looks like he'll be a 40-50 point player most his career. Maybe 55. He averages 50.5 points per season over the course of his career, and that's propped up by a single season out of 5 where he overperformed on a really good team. I think he likely gets 7.5-8m/season from a dumb team. He's not worth that. I'd be fine with Necas if it didn't cost a 1st, 2nd, and like 7-8m per season for him(your proposal). For his production, you can sign a player in free agency to provide similar production, and it won't cost you any draft capital to do it, and you can probably get them in for around 5-6m. Necas is a 5m/season player that will get overpaid by 2-3m by some dumb GM. I'd prefer that not be the Hawks GM.

And no, I didn't miss where you said you like Teuvo, but you called him a "worse player" than Necas, and that's just not accurate in any way.
30 points in 17 games. 25 6'3".

Meanwhile Bertuzzi and TT have a combined cap hit of 10.9M and are on pace for a combined 63 points.

Absolutely pathetic.

Who has a worse head coach: Bears or Blackhawks? Can it somehow be a tie?

Is there a worse sports city than Chicago?

Blackhawks in dead last and look awful again.
Bears... lol.
White Sox just had one of the worst seasons ever.
Cubs happy to be JUST good enough to fill the stadium without putting the effort and payroll into being a real contender.
Bulls... do people still watch basketball? I never hear anything about the Bulls from my Chicago sports friends these days.

I'm not the biggest Kaiser fan but I like the idea of them on the same pairing just to see how two young guys do together. Not to mention it's nice to see them not being anchored by Brodie.

It was said at the end of the 22/23 l season that the Hawks were 3 years away from being 3 years away from being a Cup contender...in a 6 year re-build plan.

Then we drafted Bedard whoch led some to speculate the re-build woukd by 2 seasons to just a 4 year re-build of which 24/25 season woukd complete half of that.

The brining in of the vets to "help Befard" so far has fizzled and Bedard has slumped i goal scoring and effective play...so maybe we cannot get that 2 seasonsvoff the original 6 yr re-build realistic estimate.

We do have pipelibecasets co ing but that probably still takes 3-4 years after this season to alk mature and gel together.

Eventually Bedard must be thevtop scorer we envisaged when we draftedvhim...Eventually we will have 6 top scoring forwards for the top six (lines 1 and 2)...eventualky we will have a scoringblinev3 too ,and eventualky the competition to round out linev4 will be so great tgat it too will be a quality line scorong more than a typical linec4 ..

But All of that is still 4 to 5 seasons after this one.

Maybe the last season of the original 6 year re-build can be loved off if we add a Hossa lije free agent who is that muchva difference-maker two ways..

But given wherexwexarevnow,it will take probably 5 more seasons after this one till we reach elite team status....4 if we get lucky with that outscisvover the top free agent who ...like Hossa...is only going to succeed when nearly all the other elements already there ...

Internally, have the Blackhawks set a required minimum amount of games played in Rockford before call up?

Cause this shit makes no f***ing sense

That Brodie-Martinez pairing is going to get so f***ed lol.

I just don't get the logic behind anything Richardson does. So you put Dickinson and Anderson with Bedard, because they're going to get him the puck back? But then neither of them makes plays and neither are finishers, so what does it matter? Also, neither have been driving play much this year, they're sitting at 43 and 42% expected goals for.

The answer is so simple. I don't get it.

Bertuzzi - Bedard - Teravainen
Hall - Foligno - Kurashev
Mikheyev - Dickinson - Anderson
Reichel - Smith - Donato

In general people tend to over correct. I think KD realizes his mistake with Korch but now is going to have guys stay in the AHL forever.

Flus didn’t take accountability and now it’s his favorite word

I’ll bet Bedard with Dickinson will work.

Dickinson centred Bedard and Kurashev for a decent chunk of time last season (78 minutes). They had a 38% CF% and a 3-1 actual goals advantage.

Theoretically Dickinson could work with Bedard as a competent centre, but they need another offensively-minded wing to play off Bedard. Anderson isn't it.
