Yes - I was wondering if he was being taught how to be a pro.. perhaps some bad habits. I know he's not expected to be an NHLer.
A message? I doubt. Probably just that there's not much room for a small 7th rounder that doesn't generate much offense when five Rookie Forwards that were picked in Rounds 1-3 joined Rockford this year. Habits/work ethic are the whole reason he's made it to the AHL to begin with.

You can see why they took Levshunov. Tools are all there and everything is so smooth. Really calm under pressure too. Shift to shift intensity has to improve though. He’s so smooth and calm that he almost looks nonchalant at times

I think he's really going to explode next year. Give him a year to adjust to the pro game and then watch him grow.

It's been his MO everywhere he went. I'm hoping it can improve (and obviously Hawks project it to), but I'm not expecting it tbh.

Levshunov was really solid last night. Probably his best game as a hog.

When he’s clicking the McAvoy comps the hawks were throwing around make a ton of sense.

I think a season and a half in Rockford will do wonders for his game. The hawks absolutely made the right call getting him to the AHL.

It won’t always be pretty this year for him, but this is what development looks like.

Tgecliubtbis KEV gets his shots on goal ..goodxstuff happens from that...unlike Wyatt Kaiser yesterday..set up with no checker in the shoitingblane from 15 feet out and he completely misses the net ..hardxtovscorevif you moss the netcwuth your shots..
Lev seems to getbitvon net with low wrist shots from the middle 5 feet in from the o-zone nlueline..one of Lev's strongest attributes.. Gets shots on net from distance.
