I mean all this does is highlight the fact that at best someone like Boisvert is a long shot at becoming a core top 6 forward. Obviously someone can surprise but our pool lacks high end talent.

My main critique of KD is that I wouldn’t say any of his picks at forward have really developed and improved their stock and that’s a bit problematic given the sheer volume of picks we’ve had. Like where’s our Ritchie? Perreault? Musty?

None of the guys you listed are having these incredible starts that you think they are. They get overrated by their fans just like every fan base does.

There are very few prospects that can step right into the NHL and be effective. Look at Will Smith and Cutter Gauthier who look downright awful so far.

The guys you’re dreaming of are very few and far between. But fyi, Nazar is absolutely killing it in the AHL, compared to his “much better” teammate McGroarty.
