That'll play bigtime. His skating, size and ability to get pucks on net makes an NHL career no matter how his playmaking and defense ends up.
Yeah. I've turned around on the pick, starting to understand his game and his strengths better.
He's and event creator. Things just happen with him whether it's a shot, a pass, a carry - and it often leads to production one way or another even if it's not the most accurate pass or shot, it will do something out there.
I can see why his production was so high last year. It's a fun style of player to have for sure!

That’s insane for and his age relative to his peers and basically being a rookie to that leagues
And keep in mind he got off to a really slow start getting up to speed from his injury.
He’s not who I would have picked at 2 but I’m still so excited to see his growth the rest of the year.

The tools are such that he will be a good high risk high reward NHL defenseman at a bare minimum. If he develops his commitment to defence and decision making he could be Norris level.

Will Hawks give Guttman another shot before cutting bait? Maybe post TDL?
Yep Dougie Hamilton made a career off of those 3 traits. A lot of the same criticisms of Dougie with being too relaxed and lacking in intensity at times.

Rockford up 3-0, they're not really playing great but the Moose just look like crap...slow game. Lev with some impressive plays all around though. The second goal came after a slick defensive move of his where he did his too casual around his net thing one moment then the next he knocks the puck off a guy to send it the other way.

Edit: he played in the 3rd after going to the locker room in the 2nd following a headshot. Game got chippy after that.

This is happening too often with Dach. He seems incapable of avoiding the big hits.... he often skates right into those situations.

Not many points for the kids. Dach with 1g1a. Slaggert with 1a. EDM and Kaiser also with 1a each.
I did just check and Lev is still in the lead for SOG by defensemen. 4 more than the next best and Lev's played less games. Would like to see him put up more points, but at least he's getting shots through.
