Score after 3 regulation periods = TOR 3 - MTL 3. Laura Stacey regained the lead for the Victoire midway through the 3rd, unassisted & her 3rd point of the game. But Daryl Watts tied it up after a Montreal turnover in their own end with under 4 minutes left in regulation (ending her PWHL scoring drought that started last January). The home side ended the period on a power play, so the woman advantage will remain at the opening the OT period.

Early 2nd period in Toronto, Sceptres & Charge tied 1-1. Julia Gosling scored for the hometeam in the final minute of Period 1. TOR's offense was relentless early in the middle session, but OTT's Emily Clark took away the momentum & quieted the crowd in the 4th minute. Entertaining play so far.

End of 2, Sceptres lead 3-1. Toronto's 2nd goal was scored unassisted by Blayre Turnbull in an odd situation: Turnbull was checked to the ice in the Ottawa zone, leaving her slow to get up as the Charge moved the puck up ice; but the puck came back several seconds later toward Turnbull as she tagged up at the OTT blueline, and she swept in on Emerance Maschmeyer to regain TOR's lead. That lead was extended by Renata Fast on a late power play.

Final Score @ Coca-Cola Coliseum = Ottawa 2 - Toronto 4. The 3rd period was another competitive 20 minutes, with the bonus of no "bonus hockey" for a change. After OTT's Brianne Jenner lost the puck in the TOR zone as she crumpled unchallenged to the ice (later limping to the dressing room with assistance but she returned), Turnbull scored a second unassisted goal to stretch her team's lead to 3. A few minutes later Kateřina Mrázová scored to get the Charge back within 2. Back & forth offensive surges continued, and Ottawa got another PP after a questionable bodychecking call but registered zero SOGs in that 2 mins. The visitors pulled Maschmeyer @ 1:25 left, but she had to return in the final minute. Toronto leapfrogs Ottawa into 5th place.
