Curl as Minnesota's fourth protected player is... a choice.

indeed it is, but what's your complaint? The Frosties' back-to-back championships present strong evidence that the organization has a handle on what it takes to build & sustain a successful roster. If/when they fall from their lofty perch, then we can criticize their decisionmaking skills.

Minnesota, Montreal, Ottawa each have lost two players.

But I've only seen the Frost indicate which is their 4th protected player.
