They won 7-6 in OT. They have a 3-0 lead in the series.

Concerning for me is Ritchie's statline:

17 goals scored in this series and Ritchie has all of 2 points.

The just about 3-year younger draft-eligible forward Owen Griffin has 13-10-23 in these playoffs (4 in the series) and he's basically been viewed as a 5th-7th rounder for this summer all season long.

Up to 7 points in 12 games. It's ok, although I've seen them all and two of the assists were, well, generous gimmes by the statkeepers.

Still, we're talking about a 20-year old import player on the most powerful junior team on the continent and his regular season consisted of 9-22-31 in 58 games.

That's essentially a strong statement that you're not an NHL topic.

About time!

Up until this game, he only had 2 points on the 17(!) goals they had scored in the first three games.

I have only been score board watching this round but from reports he’s doing all the little things to help the team win. Personally, I would like to see a former 1st round draft pick who’s 20 years old dominate more points wise but he’s certainly not struggling.

I think we’re gonna need patience with him and don’t let the fact that he played a few games in the NHL last year set expectations too high for him.

I’m hoping the new GM gets a new coach for Bridgeport and is a guy who can develop our prospects better. Then maybe he can start in the AHL next year.
