New Frans Nielsen?I have hopes that he can be a 2nd line center. I think he’s really heady and has tremendous skill as a playmaker. He’s also really good defensively. If he ended up a legit 3rd line center I wouldn’t be mad but I have slightly higher expectations for him.
Frans only had a few seasons where I’d consider him a legit 2C and he was at the lower end of 2C. I have higher expectations for Ritchie than that. But as far as being a skilled 2way center that can play both PP and PK, yes definitely similar to Frans in that well.New Frans Nielsen?
His upside is a premier third liner.Ritchie has a nice shot, also a very good passer and still handler. Probably needs to work on his skating a little. Not a horrible skater, but not great either.
Maybe, we shall see. People probably felt Stars’ 2nd round pick a few years back, Jason Robertson, his upside was premier third liner. You never know. His upside is a premier third liner.

The issue is more that he just doesn't shoot enough.
Sound familiar?
Wow they almost came back. I stopped watching at 5-21:30 remaining 6-5 London.
Nurmi goal
Ritchie assist.
London was winning 6-2 at one point
Now 7-5 Cowan empty net goal. :55 remaining
Oshawas Achilles heel is their coaching. It’s been in flux all year. London while being a talented roster, is also extremely well coached team by Hunter.Wow they almost came back. I stopped watching at 5-2
