I just wish they'd at least say if it's upper or lower body injury. It looked like he had a hard time walking suggesting it's lower body, hopefully nothing too serious. He's been really good lately, guy just can't get a break.

IF there were practices, ostensibly there would be no need to skate on their own. If there were no practices, this could be why they’d skate on their own. If there has been some practices during the break, this info could be an indication that there’ still some injury concerns.

OK, so good to know there were no practices during the break.

But, I wonder if the practice held today involved contact?

IF there was contact, and Pinto & Norris are being held out of these practices, that’s not a good sign. I get they’ll skate on their own if they are injured. That isn’t news or new info. But, things happen for a reason typically, and hence, this is why I ponder this situation & ask these questions.

To me, being ambiguous about player injuries is kind of an old school thing and for me, Travis Green falls into that old school coach kind of mentality.
He is never going to give you a real honest answer on the status of a player. Whether that's to protect the player, f@ck with the media (Garrioch) or just his personality, I am not sure but yeah, Green has proven that he is going to be speak in very general terms when it comes to injuries and timelines for returning.
