I figure he takes a game or two offNUTS! We usually do a call up for a road trip no?
I just wish they'd at least say if it's upper or lower body injury. It looked like he had a hard time walking suggesting it's lower body, hopefully nothing too serious. He's been really good lately, guy just can't get a break.I figure he takes a game or two off
The above is kind of vague. The “skating on their own” makes me curious. Were teams not practicing during the 4 Nations tournament? IF there were practices, ostensibly there would be no need to skate on their own. If there were no practices, this could be why they’d skate on their own. If there has been some practices during the break, this info could be an indication that there’ still some injury concerns.
Linus Ullmark was 'a possibility for this weekend' for about 5 weeks. So Green didn’t rule out Pinto playing against Florida 10 days ago but he’s not even taking regular practice shifts right now?
Incredible things are happening in the Ottawa Senators organization.
Yeah it’s actually gotten ridiculous. I understand why they don’t disclose the nature of the injuries but there’s really no need to straight up lie about their timelines. So Green didn’t rule out Pinto playing against Florida 10 days ago but he’s not even taking regular practice shifts right now?

OK, so good to know there were no practices during the break. There were no practices during the break.
Today was the first day back and it sounds like Norris and Pinto did not participate with the group but did skate on their own - which is not unusual with injured players.
To me, being ambiguous about player injuries is kind of an old school thing and for me, Travis Green falls into that old school coach kind of mentality.Yeah it’s actually gotten ridiculous.
