It's interesting to see a team like Vegas play as badly as us at even strength but have their power play and scoring poise/talent carry them to wins.

That 2nd/3rd RFA comp range is getting hefty. Good players who teams count on having a second contact 1-2M are going to have 3-4.5M offers with increased frequency here pretty soon. It used to be any significant raise required a 1st, but that is no longer the case.

I didn’t think about it before St. Louis did it, but after it was signed I didn’t hate that move for STL and would have been fine with it by Grier. Unlikely to get last years Broberg in the second round let alone what he’s shown early in this year.

Might be good to lock those Celebrini, Smith, and Askarov extensions in 20 months before Grier heads to the Rfa market…
