Lachance ends with 3 assists

Shane Lachance retains his net front presence position on the top PP unit. Here are the assists:

-----

Nathan Day collects another win in OT off back-to-back nights work. 25 saves, third star.
Clattenburg had a goal taken off the board early in the third period. He's back to centering the top line after player LW last night.

Akey no points and -2 this weekend.
Nicholl 1 assist this weekend, 4 points in 4 games on the year which is chef's kiss for a 7th rounder.
SOR with an assist as well, 2 points in 2 games.
Clattenburg with a goal, also 4 pts/4 gp. Nice start given all the grief around this pick.
Day 2 wins and only 3 goals allowed, a strong turnaround after his rough opening weekend.

Our Ontario scouting seems to be coming through big time. Pracey replacing Wright seems to have been a huge W already.

Still very early but I like all of Nicholl, O'Reilly and Clattenburg. Wakely didn't look so hot in the prospects tournament but he's probably a longer term project anyway.

Honestly people were happy with Wright with some of his late round picks.

Savoie, Tullio, Petrov were guys people liked while still in Junior. Some are still high on Wanner, Copponi, Berezkin, Lachance etc..

Still a lot of time before we know what Pracey is.

Stan mentioned that he called lachance to congratulate him on his play. If Stan is really that proactive with college guys I don’t think we’ll have to worry about them jumping ship

I mentioned this before, but LaChance has also been to three development camps with us. Seems like he's committed to being here so far.

It'll be sad to lose him on waivers in 4 years because we had to dig up the carcass of Albert "Babe" Siebert to be on the 4th line instead.

Nah.
Perry will still be here.
