No hope he didn't tweak his knee. I have him pencilled in on my fantasy lineup for march replacing Ryan as 4C.
Chaulk said he would be back soon. Anticipate in first couple of weeks in December.

He's been playing in the U20 league for the last little bit. He just got loaned to a Mestis(basically Finland's AHL) team yesterday.
The Liiga team that owns his rights is the best team in the league and has a bunch of goalies, so no ice time for him there.

Weirdly enough Clattenburg is a guy I’d love to see take the new college route for a year before hitting pro’s

Who would you compare him to? To me, he reminds me a lot of Viktor Kozlov. Both big forwards. Neither is fast but protect the puck well. Both more playmakers than scorers but can still score. I don't know, iirc Kozlov was still a very competent skater and way more gifted athletically. Although...

He could definitely marinate for longer, but is the college game going to neuter his? A guy like Trent Frederic came out with his edge still sharp, but I feel like college won't nourish the intimidation aspect of Clattenburg’s game.

I Think Clattenburg is a legit Psycho lol, he won’t lose that. I am more worried that he won’t have enough offense to play in the NHL and that’s what I would want him in to work on in the NCAA
We need to get him into a better league stat, those are video game numbers. Samuel Ersson (PHI) had a 1.95 GAA and 0.933 SV% in the same league at the same age and won Goalie of the Year.

IMO he has enough to be a 3rd line guy. The way that he plays puts him into good positions to score. He just plays bull in a china shop hockey so there will be lots of deflections, rebounds, etc. coming out of that type of game.

and we traded two prospects for him. I still do not understand why we traded for a guy who has had two years of back to back lost seasons. The guy is too fragile for the NA game
I posted about a week ago I have been more impressed with Nicholl than with O'Reailly in the games I have been able to stream
