Flacco's magic ran out in the playoff game against the Texans.

Agreed. Indy made the change in hopes it could have a better chance of winning the past two games, continue to be in the playoff race and to probably appease some of the players on the team. Since they lost both games, they sit at 4-6 and while they still have a slim chance, the Colts need to find out what they have in Richardson, and the only way they will know that is if he plays.

He sat out most of last season due to injury so he already had his redshirt year.

I think he could very well be in Trey Lance territory where the Colts bring in a vet next season and if Richardson isn't showing improvement through camp, they will trade him.

Minn and Buffalo were not easy games. This wasn’t vs NE or Ten here.

Toughest game left is Detroit. Jets, Pats, Broncos, titians, Giants, Jags are all winnable. Could still get to 10-7.

Just looking at the news again it’s brutal for Burrows how badly Bengals are run

Their defense can’t stop a cold and it’s almost quaranteed Higgins walks.

Why couldn’t they just have traded him and tried to create more depth

Almost like we’ve already seen the peak Burrows Bengals team

The defense has let them down, their DC has been terrible.
Higgins has been total shit this year, injured and he's about to get paid? Yeah, who would want to pay him for being unavailable.

I get the middle of his Saints career Brees vibe when I watch Burrows. Playing his butt off, taking punishment, for maybe a .500 season if all goes well.

In the past he’s played a big part in their success and we’ll have to watch bit by bit how Bengals replace their top/key players with cheaper/worse versions and ask Burrow more and more

They aren’t serious about competing

Yep, he’s playing at MVP level but will never get the credit and just more blame for not being able to win these games even though they score 34-40 in a game

Man, after his season last year up until the injury, and with the big jump in contracts for centers, you gotta think Williams would have gotten a contract in the $30-40M range if he hadn't gotten injured. Sucks that he was forced to retire.

yep. That's why I don't blame guys for getting their deals after year 3 when they have done enough to justify that request. Just never know.
But, he still walks away with $24 million in career earnings, all in no state income tax cities in Dal, Mia, and Sea.

For an OL, first priority is to drop the extra 50-60 lbs or whatever he needed to carry to play OL.

Well, they aren't getting any exciting QB in this draft having the Browns, Raiders, and Titans drafting ahead of them.

I don't know that Drew Lock wins them any games either but the turnovers might be good from an entertainment perspective at least

Now the watch is on to see what kid gets his career ruined getting drafted by one of those terrible franchises

Raiders, they came off a bye week and Miami was flying home cross country on a short week and still got beat running away in the second half.
Titans, just going to roll with Levis as they will aim to make a decision on him in the off-season.
Browns, just going to be the Browns.

5 clubs with 2 wins. Those 3 plus the Giants and Jags.

Giants finish with TB, Dal, NO, Bal, Atl, Ind, Phi
Jags finish with Hou, Ten, NYJ, LV, Ten, Ind,
Raiders finish with Den, KC, TB, ATL, Jax, NO, LAC
Browns finish with Pit, Den, Pit, KC, Cin, Mia, Bal
Ten finish with Hou, Was, Jax, Cin, Ind, Jax, Hou

Ten/Jax have a H2H still, so someone is winning those games.
Raiders/Jags meet so someone will win that game.
Browns in tough with 4 divisional games, plus KC, Den, Mia.
Giants, most winnable game is the Dallas one without Dak.

All but the Jags could possibly see final week matchups vs teams resting starters too depending who has playoff seeds wrapped up

That's possible. Indy is only in the WC race with getting swept by Hou. Hou isn't good enough to get #2 seed, so if they have the division wrapped up, best to rest who they can in week 18.

Once you get to 3 wins, it's a bunch of tie breakers to determine who picks ahead of who. I just remember the raiders being tied with SF/NYJ for 2nd worst and they got pick 4, while SF got Bosa at 2, NYJ with WIlliams at 3. Then LV went off the board with Ferrell at 4. Sad that Ferrell's fellow Clemson DL went later to the giants and dolphins and performed much better. How can you scout that DL and pick Ferrell first?

Who knows if Car wins anymore games plus the others at 3 wins.

Daniel Jones shouldn’t have been drafted that high in the first place, John Mara should be called out for that shit storm because the sole reason the Giant's picked Jones was because he knew the Manning family.

Whoever picks the new QB, fresh start.
