When DaveArt keeps its simple his work is very good. When he doesn't, it makes me wish I was blind.

Not goalie (or NHL) but this will be appreciated here...Gabe Perrault rocking Jofa shinnies. they stopped making equipment before he was born.

Jofa had the best protective...some NHL guys still wear some of their stuff under the hood.

I've always hated the gold, but it's hard to argue with the team's colours. It is what it is, more of a Vegas being tacky problem, than a goaltender aesthetic issue.

But this is pretty much the ideal pad "design" these days. It's clean, simply, classic...and still gives just a little bit more flair than straight white. Even kind of faux knee rolls warm my heart.

If i could choose equipment, i'd want to have the equipment Brossoit used last season when they were wearing the RCAF jerseys. Just have the old school look all the time, good ol Brown haha

Do they still just rebrand them? I’ve been out of the loop for a long time but when I played junior, we got jofa pro gear branded as RBK. We were right in the transition phase though. I’m curious if they just reskin old jofa designs with CCM. Back then they had RBK on them but that was 15 years ago.

No, nothing that mimics them these days, certainly not retail. Prostock maybe different. Tacks line by CCM with some of the straps and features removed might be close.

Just cool to see a young kid rockin the old school gear. Goes to show why lots still swear by their protective

Again not goalie but.....first look at practice Fanatics Utah jerseys with the Fanatics "F" instead of Adidas 3-stripe logo.

Are these new Fanatics hockey Socks? They look awful (not surprising given it's Fanatics)

Ahh yes the annual everyone hates Dave art and goalies should have helmets in an aestetic I like and prefer or else it's crap.

As always daveart doesn't just make random shit that goalies have the deal with. These goalies choose him and have a say in the design process.

Please spend 30 minutes looking at the goaler masks of the 90s and then go look at DaveArt, then come back to quote me and tell me what you learned.

I can easily settle this dispute by saying that the Yellow Penguin pads was easily Flowers worst ever look. And those Golden pads were just...a choice i wouldn't make.


Gonna give a pass on the Yellow for the North Stars scheme throwbacks though. But the uniform is doing most of the heavy lifting there.
