Northern Illinois is joining the Horizon League for all sports that aren't football (or anything the Horizon League doesn't have).

I'm glad I was able to witness a Wolfpack ACC championship and FF appearance because I'm not sure I'll see either again. Fun while it lasted!

And a year later, the coach who took them there is out.

At this point the program should be considered a lost cause and the focus and energy should be on the women's program. They at least have potential to win a national championship some day.
