This article pretty disturbing
It doesn't actually matter or affect anything, and anyone who goes into a group of 100 or more people and expects unanimity is the one who has erred. The dumbass who left Ichiro off of his HOF ballot should be revealed to the public, publicly shamed and humiliated, literally tarred and feathered, blacklisted from baseball, and be forced to repent for the rest of his natural life.
Speaking as a Cardinals fan and a fan of baseball, there is no reason why Mariano Rivera should've gotten a unanimous vote while Ichiro and Griffey Jr. didn't.

What does it matter?Because that same dumbass voted for Mariano Rivera unanimously, along with 100+ people. You can't tell me that a f***ing reliever can get a unanimous vote while Griffey Jr. and Ichiro don't. It was one idiot with both of them, and both of them should've gotten in unanimously.
What does it matter?
Randy Johnson, Pedro, Greg Maddux, Cal Ripken, Johnny Bench, Mike Smidt... I mean the list goes on and on of slam dunk elite best of the best at their position who didn't get 100%. It's so crazy.Because that same dumbass voted for Mariano Rivera unanimously, along with 100+ people. What galls me even more is that the guy who did it will remain anonymous. Whomever it is doesn't have the courage to justify their insanity, and if they did, I'd respect him/her a lot more than I do now.

Yup, no group of 100 people anywhere will all agree on the same thing (except in North Korea)
Unfortunately, all three will probably be wearing new jerseys by the time MLB the Show 26 comes out.Trio of young stars grace MLB The Show 25 cover
MLB The Show 25 will feature three athletes for the first time, with Elly De La Cruz, Gunnar Henderson and Paul Skenes gracing the cover.www.espn.com
Three players on the front of MLB 2025. Solid set of 3.
What? No there isn't.Unfortunately, all three will probably be wearing new jerseys by the time MLB the Show 26 comes out.
Aren't all three on one-year deals? The Reds, Orioles, and Pirates are not known for big-time deals. What? No there isn't.
All these players will be locked up to franchise contracts. At least Gunnar and Skenes will. Elly I would say is not quite in the same class as these guys and I don't really know what the Reds have a plan for so maybe that's the one who could get traded but these guys are under team control for a long time. They aren't going anywhere anytime soon.Aren't all three on one-year deals? The Reds, Orioles, and Pirates are not known for big-time deals.
How long are they under team control? Some teams will be "sharks circling" waiting for their FA.All these players will be locked up to franchise contracts. At least Gunnar and Skenes will. I think it's 6 years of team control so Skenes has a long way to go. Gunnar and Elly still like 3-4 years I think. Them becoming free agents isn't really something that would be on the radar for a while. How long are they under team control? Some teams will be "sharks circling" waiting for their FA.
Also, all three teams will have a lot more to prove for me to say "All these players will be locked up to franchise contracts". There are a few exceptions, but for the most part, these teams (especially the Pirates) aren't really in the business of locking up mega-deal players.
MLB players are not eligible for free agency until after six years of major league service time (which can take as long as nine calendar years).I think it's 6 years of team control so Skenes has a long way to go. Sure… but I was responding to a post that said they all wouldn’t be on their respective teams by the time MLB 26 comes out. Skenes is under team control for a long time. He can get his 1 year deals and make money along the way if Nutting doesn’t want to pay up but he’s not getting traded by the Pirates anytime soon.Is Nutting going to pay the mega millions its gonna coast to re-sign Skenes? Unless he does his best Matt Harvey impression, dude is gonna command hundreds of millions on a. long term deal.
Yea, he doesn't have much leverage right now, but he can just stick to one year deals until he approaches free agency and tells them to pay or hes gone.
