I'll take is a step further with Victoire being 1st in the PWHL and so far the only team to have clinched a playoff spot.

Good year for Montreal hockey and affiliates.

It's also interesting to see young guys having an impact on that team, not just vets.

The Cormier brothers (21 and 23), Nijhoff (23), Cavallin (23) and Beaucage (23) all have had great seasons and could maybe be considered for a full-time spot in Laval at some point in the future.

There was also Mianscum (21) who was more of a depth piece but is still under contract by Laval next year.

Even if it's just AHLers, having guys that grew in the org helps reinforce the culture and help the more promising guys that also go through Laval.

I assume they will play the NHL games first. The Lions home games will go back on the schedule when there aren't NHL games to play on the 2nd channel.

In other news, they can close out the series Wednesday as they're leading 3-0 following a win in 2OT.
