With the inexplicable gap between games I guess it makes sense that they had each goalie play so they wouldn't be rusty in case of injury or being pulled. This scheduling makes zero sense.

He's not really the euro league type IMO, he would have already gone by this point. We might have a chance at keeping him around for a few more years. I certainly hope so.

The main thing is probably if he likes the city and the team. I guess salary too, but I don't see that being a problem for Laval to offer.

Don't think there's a batter place to play in the AHL than Laval. If you're called up for a while because of injuries you'll play in the same metro area as the big team (no need to move). Great arena. Good city. Pretty sure we'll have no trouble finding good AHL vets in the upcoming years.
