Teams can pick 2-2-1 format, this travel rule thing is bogus.AHL rules are you are only allowed to travel once so you have to make the choice if you want the first 3 games or last 3 games at home.

The team with the home ice advantage should dictate. Rochester refused 2-2-1.Yeah I looked into it a little and there are a few series that were 2-2-1. Both teams must have to agree to that or something though because every team ahead in the standings would want the 2-2-1 format. Who wouldn't take that?
Nobody is taking 2-3 unless that's the best of the available options.
It's terrible.The AHL website is absolute garbage.. what a mess.
i couldn't even find who was leading in the series.. at all..It's terrible.
The only thing I've use it for is game day scores and the associated gamecenter and the standings in the regular season.
As far as the post season goes it's a complete mystery to me how anyone can obtain relevant information.

If Fowler starts playing bad, I have no issues with Primeau coming back in.
Of course. But if Fowler plays well, it should be over for Primeau in that uniform.
It starts on Wednesday.Are these lazy clowns gonna play soon?

With a week off in between series, I put together some highlights from the last series vs the Monsters,
1...Beck needs his own line. Bring up Little X, Beck and Davidson. They will be the energy line from hell.Watching just the highlights, anyone who doesn't follow the team closely could draw the following conclusions:
1. The high number of scoring chances that Beck creates as a result of his speed and skill;
2. The calmness of Fowler whose goaltending style demonstrates a remarkable economy of movement;
3. How often Farrell places himself in prime scoring positions.
4. How elegant Enstrom's skating style is.
5. The unending truculence of Xhekaj's style of play.
6. How few offensive highlights there are of Roy.
7. The number of scoring chances that Kapanen had despite playing only the last two games of the series.
For what its worth.
1...Beck needs his own line. Bring up Little X, Beck and Davidson. They will be the energy line from hell. I think these three will provide more than just energy at the next level: Florian, superior playmaking ability and scoring; Beck, speed and skill; and Davidson, shooting ability, a relentless compete level and leadership.
2...human sponge This kid is the future #1 goaltender of the Canadiens.
3...because of his size and already having Hutson and CC, he has to be closer to elite to make it. I gave Farrell little chance of making the team earlier this season. But he has generally been Laval's best forward (player) for the past 40 to 50 games. I see a lot of DeBrincat's game in Farrell and, at the very least, he will provide Hughes with a valuable asset that should be able to garner a good return if traded. Farrell has a scoring pedigree and I have no doubt other teams have taken note of Farrell's scoring ability.
4...he needs to show more in one aspect or another because there are NHL caliber young players already occupying the left side. Either more offense or more defense OR bring both to another level to push past X and Struble. Like Farrell, Engstrom has shown flashes of speed and offensive flair that makes him a valuable asset. Whether for Montreal, or another team, Engstrom will play in the NHL.
5...psycho...and I LOVE IT. Heading the Tom Wilson direction. As I have noted, Florian's physicality is greatly overblown. He's a bean pole and would be manhandled by any NHL heavyweight. While he will always play with physicality, Florian will make the NHL based on his very underrated hockey skills.
6...Roy who? The team has simply too many better options than what this highly talented but low intensity / speed challenged player offers.
7...skilled and capable, but he needs to bring it up a level for the playoffs to distinguish himself from Beck and Little X. There are only so many spots for rookies. I suspect that these three rookies will soon be force Hughes' hand to either rid the team of a number of overpaid and declining roster players or trade these valuable assets for other assets whether draft picks or other players.
