AHL rules are you are only allowed to travel once so you have to make the choice if you want the first 3 games or last 3 games at home.

Teams can pick 2-2-1 format, this travel rule thing is bogus.

Yeah I looked into it a little and there are a few series that were 2-2-1. Both teams must have to agree to that or something though because every team ahead in the standings would want the 2-2-1 format. Who wouldn't take that?

Nobody is taking 2-3 unless that's the best of the available options.

The team with the home ice advantage should dictate. Rochester refused 2-2-1.

It's terrible.
The only thing I've used it for is game day scores and the associated gamecenter and the standings in the regular season.
As far as the post season goes it's a complete mystery to me how anyone can obtain relevant information.

i couldn't even find who was leading in the series.. at all..

% Bush League stuff when it comes to the AHL. They have not made an effort to upgrade, modernize their site or our ability to watch AHL games. Flosports is worse than AHL TV.
