Laval Rocket: 2024-25 Laval Rocket Thread

Not many are getting HS scratched though. I know Laval is top team in the league but still disappointing to see.

It's not ideal.. but there's no panic here, let him develop and see what we got at the end of his ELC. Our rebuild does not hinge on whether or not Mesar makes it and it never did. History is full of late first round picks that did not pan out.

Literally nobody said any of that lmao. We said he is disappointing and likely a bust. Like you said, history is full of them, so no need to get bent out of shape when someone calls a spade a spade.

Yes, I'm totally bent out of shape because I said that it's not worth panicking over and we can give him his full ELC before making a determination on what he is or isn't.

Maybe don't get bent out of shape when someone expresses something that isn't exactly what you think regarding a player?

Well, you started raising strawman arguments in response to fair criticism (“panicking”, “our rebuild doesn’t hinge on Mesar”), but right, you’re totally not getting bent out of shape.

Egor Goriunov is a RW, skates fast and has a very good shot. He is 6'3''

QMJHL: Blainville-Boisbriand (5) at Rouyn-Noranda (6) - Neutral Zone - Men's

Goriunov possesses game breaking qualities and can really take over games with elite offensive instincts, vision and passing ability, his puck skills are very good and he doesn’t mind going to high traffic areas to generate time, space and offensive chances for himself and his teammates,

Wow! Keep this safe!

How did you get that?

Inchallah the 2025 AHL Cup Champions Laval Rocket!

Goriunov seems like a great signing, but he may also be another water boy.

We see that these guys come up to the NHL and then flounder when they don't have enough time and space to use their tools. In fact, the most valuable tool is vision. It allows them to see and/or create that space.

Let's see what we have...

His stats in the Q are not impressive. but stats do not necessarily forecast the future for him. He might play for 3R next year.

I'm looking forward to two games tonight...obviously watching Habs live and then after the big boss goes to bed, the AHL game.

Really want to see how that "box of mystery chocolates" Mailman is going to play and of course Rein.

I just saw the Toronto Marlies bus. Today. Thursday May 1st 2025. Around 2:00PM. In Laval. Around Carrefour Laval.

I dunno why the f*** are they douing here...

Wotherspoon would be my priority, but both of these guys and ABB are the vets I want back the most.

That would leave 2 spots left for Lindstrom/Jacobs/RHP/Gignac or FAs.

Hoefenmayer and Hayes aren't considered vets yet. Neither is Condotta who already re-signed.
Barré Boulet,Farrell,Dauphin Trudeau and Wotherspoon
