I'd rather see Mesar than Harvey-Pinard

The fact that he’s even in this position is embarrassing. He should be one of the team’s best forwards, if not the best. Guy can barely stick in the AHL.

It's not ideal.. but there's no panic here, let him develop and see what we got at the end of his ELC. Our rebuild does not hinge on whether or not Mesar makes it and it never did. History is full of late first round picks that did not pan out.

There aren’t many 21 year old former 1st rounders who can’t crack an AHL lineup that end up having an NHL career either.

Yes, I'm totally bent out of shape because I said that it's not worth panicking over and we can give him his full ELC before making a determination on what he is or isn't.
