7 points is Kakko's first 10 games as a Kraken. Him on Beniers wing seems to be working pretty good, though I think Kakko has worked on any line he has been on.

Out of curiosity, do we generally agree that the Mahura signing was a fluke success by GMRF and not some analytical masterstroke? He’s been great but none of us…to include RF…saw that coming…right?

I figured he'd be one of those solid, stabilizing guys for the FIrebirds...one that wouldn't kill you when you needed a call-up. I certainly didn't think he'd become an NHL regular, but good for him!

If RF thought Mahura was going to be one of our better d-men, he would have signed him for longer than 1 year at league minimum.
