Carter George made 29/32 saves in a 5-3 win. Some big saves, but I would say at least two were stoppable. One was from the top of the left faceoff circle and one was close to being at the goal-line angle.

One wasn't completely his fault, as there was a lot of traffic in front of him.

Both Woolley and Mania were scoreless. Greentree didn't play.

Kaliev - I know he is not quite a prospect anymore. But what is going on with him? I see he is out with an injury for a while. But what happened last season? Was he just snake bitten (6.9% shooting percentage) ? Or did he regress and if so why?

Sorry, missed this. It's multifactorial.

Luc said Kaliyev doesn't quite understand what the Kings are doing. He has issues with board battles. He spends a lot of time in the bottom-6, which I think affects the confidence of a generally awkward player.

Update so far today: Otto Salin had another assist. He has 10 points (4 G, 6 A) in 10 games. His career high was 12 points (6 G, 6 A) in 44 games.

Though not a prospect anymore, the Kings still have the rights to Alexander Dergachev. He had an assist.

Bulat Shafigullin also had a goal.

Kenny Connors had a goal in exhibition action.

James Reeder, the Kings 7th -round pick from 2024, scored his first career NCAA goal. It was also his birthday.
