Can the draft date be closer to the season opener on October 10th?

Regardless...
I will go with the majority.
I am flexible this year.

So I will just go with the majority.
I am fine with an earlier date if that works best for everyone.

Please remember to hold the draft lottery as soon as possible with the earlier draft date.

Whoops, I accidentally voted for the 1st but meant the 8th. My bad. I always like the latest date possible to give the most time for things to shake out before drafting.

Also prepare yourselves, because you're to witness the greatest run to the title in fantasy hockey history. Courtesy of the United States of Balls. :towel:

voted the 8th. For me, the quicker we decide that draft date the quicker I can make sure that I can attend. I am states side for 2 weeks but I can arrange to attend the draft given enough notice

Just wondering...
Are the odds determined by regular season finishes...
Or the final standings?
I never noticed it before...
So I do not know the answer.

Regular season, I believe.

If that is case...
Your lottery odds should be switched with vanilla.
You finished lower than him in the standings during the regular season...
But you did well in the consolation playoffs...
So you ended up higher in the final standings.

Funny enough...
My odds ended up correct...
But the order was switched.
My own pick should be third best...
While the pick I acquired should have been the one with the lowest odds.

You guys are right, I just went off of "Final Standings" and it should be off the regular season record. I was trying to knock it out at work and wasn't paying attention. I'll adjust...numbers will be the same but I'll correct the order. Thanks for the heads up.

Vanilla will now get the win. (I didn't notice it was out of order lol)

Numbers have been drawn and assigned, and GM's have been notified of their pool of numbers.

CRD, you're free to draw the winning number.

Thanks. Sorry I've been so swamped. 1-100? or 1000? haha

I'll add a little suspense and do this one the weekend ;) cause now the draft is going to be on Sunday Oct 8th as decided by the votes

Two trades to announce:
To Fedz: Jack Quinn + My 9th
To BrockH: Fedz' 5th

Number Two:
To Kuzmenkshow: Seth Jarvis
To BrockH: Huberdeau

That solidifies my last keeper slot, and means I'm done drafting after round 8. Sad face...best draft picks I've had in a decade, and I won't be there to use them.

Accept Huberdeau for Jarvis. Honestly believe Huberdeau should have a huge bounce back season and would love to keep him if I could, but can only hold on to 7 vets and it was either Huberdeau or DeBrincat out. Jarvis gives me a 2nd rookie. Thanks Brock!

Keepers now:

1. JT Miller (4) (Franchise)
2. Mika Zibanejad (3)
3. Andrei Svechnikov (3)
4. Kirill Kaprizov (2)
5. Adam Fox (2)
6. Igor Shesterkin (2)
7. Alex DeBrincat (2)
8. Owen Power (R)
9. Seth Jarvis (R)

I never can figure out the off-season value...
So this is interesting for me.
Everyone's value is so different.
