I also vote nothing after 8pm PST (11pm for me)...personally I'd prefer a 6 or 7pm start.

If he's sent down and has the "N/A" designation, nobody can pick him up...but if he gets called up and the NA designation is removed, he's fair game to be picked up by anyone. If you want to protect him you need to keep him on your roster.

I think I've said it before but can we change to same-day transactions next year? Or even this year...

Feels dumb that you have to make a move before midnight for it to take effect the next day.

For example: Without knowing who was going to start the Bruins opener today, I had to choose to either drop Korpisalo at 11 pm last night to get Swayman off IR or leave it until they announced a starter today and not be able to use Swayman if he was starting and still on my IR.

Would allow people to pick up more goalies as spot starters and also pick up a guy or two Sunday if they have the room for moves left and know what categories they need a boost in.

Same-day transactions are the way to go...

I stumbled due to about 1 hour after I did a roster change to get an extra game the NHL moved the Canes and TB game and Barkov getting hurt did not help. SO far Ingram is showing signs if being an interesting keeper but it looks like h Ahmon has the legs for the first round
