Draft time?

Anyone interested in goalie?

Binnington or Ullmark available

In my post I had made Sept 29th 5pm as a draft date...for some reason thinking Oct 4th was NHL start date. Anyways, Oct 8th is when the season starts, so we could draft on Sunday Oct 6th 5pm instead.

Would that work better for most? We'll also have more time to find a manager in this case.

The season starts with 2 games in Europe on October 4th no?! Think we have to draft before that otherwise it’s a bit unfair to those with Sabres or Devils keepers.

I guess I missed the vote but I say Sunday, Oct. 1.

the vote you see is from last year. That is one reason I am suggesting a new thread so we do not get confused

I have one request for drafting times. Nothing after 8pm.

If anyone is looking to upgrade some keepers and willing to move some picks I'm open to discuss...

Available - Boeser, Hyman, Scheifele, Kadri, Georgiev, Andersen, etc...pretty much anyone if the price is right.

Ah so I am not going crazy and it is indeed Oct 4th. In that case it would be Sunday, Sept 29th
 
Assuming nothing has changed from what past me decided:

Keepers:
F: Matthews (C), Marchand (LW), Marner (RW)
D: Bouchard, Montour, Carlsson, Hughes (R)
G: Bobrovsky
Rookies: Cooley (C), Hughes (D)

I also vote nothing after 8pm PST (11pm for me)...personally I'd prefer a 6 or 7pm start.
 
I forgot, did we have any rule changes this year? Like extra playing spots for example?

Seems intentional and unnecessary, what happened to drafting on day that's convenient and not extra busy.

Very intentional if you put it. No one responded when I was asking for suggestions. The fact is the start of the season is creeping up quickly so it'll have to be done.
 
We had decreased the number of keepers before, it'd be reversing that. Could start discussion and make it in place for next year if it's voted. I am not keen on it based on the fact we had decreased it before.

Steps to get the change in motion.
Make an post outlining the proposed changes and have two members second and third the suggestion to bring it to a vote.

Honestly, not worth it unless the discussion warranted the effort and it doesn't appear to.

With regard to the draft date, I'm virtually open to any evening and almost anytime on a weekend...so whatever works best for the consensus.

I am open anytime after 5:15 PM PST
Ideally not on the weekend, but its fine

Ok specifically Any day(s) non long weekend, non stat or observed holiday, nor days that could be reasonably construed as differentiated from the average days/week.
For example valentines day, back to school, family day, Halloween night, etc would all be non ideal draft (league) days.

To begin I'd suggest any days in September or October that are not on the September long weekend, nor occur after the first game(s) of the regular season, so perhaps a weekday not including September twenty seventh or thirtieth.

12 team league, head-to-head matchup format with playoffs in March/April. Played on Yahoo fantasy hockey
