Haha...that CBA you just complained about being too complicated? It covers this:

If the NHL trade deadline falls on a day other than Wednesday/Thursday, then the Yahoo trade deadline shall be set on the first Thursday following the NHL trade deadline. If the NHL trade deadline falls on a Wednesday/Thursday, then the Yahoo league trade deadline will be set for Thursday of the following week.

I agree. Was given the impression ALL ROOKIE pick ups after the deadline could not be kept. Not just players that got put into the nhl line ups after the deadline. There are several rookies listed on Yahoo that have contracts already but are just not on the NHL team right now


The way the rookie rule looks to me, the moment they get called up from Jr's they will be eligible to be rookie keepers.

Love the fact so many teams are tanking in hopes of getting Bedard is amusing.

It was just that there was another date in the settings...
And it was set to February 22nd before.

I was just surprised that StrictlyCommercial put players in the trade block...
And then I saw the change.
