2024-25 General Dallas Stars Talk

Miro won't be playing any meaningful minutes, I'm 99% sure. Maybe he will be back game 5 with the Stars down 3-1 in the series but it will be too little too late.

Also, your dream team responsible for the current blueline. Yes, I blame them all equally even if someone is only responsible for cap sorcery

What's the point of getting a bunch of stay at home crease clearing D-men if they constantly leave the front of the net open?

Last night’s game is exactly what this team needed. For national media now to doubt them and put them on blast.

Seems like everytime I go online, or social media, someone is shit talking the Stars, and saying they aren’t ready.

I hope the noise is being heard from inside the locker room and it lights a fire under their asses.

DLLS Stars has been one of the best things that has happened for our fan base this year. They’ve been dishing out amazing content and almost daily.

As for clearing out the crease, the only guy I ever see doing that is Bichsel. And he does it pretty damn well.

It’s time to give him more minutes, and play him in crucial moments.

How are Duchene/Rantanen getting heat on the OT goal when Harley had the puck, lost it, and then Dumba who knows what the f*** he was doing couldn't help his partner and then its in the back of the net. Our forwards were exiting the zone BECAUSE WE HAD THE PUCK.

In a perfect OT world there would have been a whistle after the penalty ending and Mikko wouldn't be out there at all. He loses the draw at centre ice to a f***ing DEFENSEMAN and then takes a stupid stick infraction.

I hope he is better in the playoffs or at least starting next season because I don't think I can stand watching him half ass shit for the next 8 years.

Yeah I'm gonna criticize him for it because he took the stupid penalty after and the Stars never had puck control after that faceoff loss. Petty and perhaps not realistic, but I'm gonna be pissed about it anyway. If his body of work so far was different, I probably wouldn't be as annoyed.

Least impressive PPG player in the league.

It wasn't much of a penalty. Type of thing that won't get called in the playoffs

He was battling hard in the corner and got called for it.

Stupid penalty was what Robertson did in the Minnesota game

Even that was just him trying to stay onside, don't blame him much for it.

I think the goal I'm most disappointed with from yesterday was the one against our 4th line to make it 5-4. Guys who should be defensively responsible and working hard 90% of the time gave up a tap in right in front of the net on one of the most predictable passes you'll see

2 goal lead so they were rewarded with some extra ice time to close the game out. Maybe even a chance to get themselves an empty net goal and they instead gave up a tap in

In a game like last night, we really could have used Cog-Faks-Glendening line to shut things down

All someone needed to do was pull a Glendening and kill 10-15 seconds in the corner.

Somehow we managed to not even touch the puck though in that final minute

Hell, a single zone clearance wouldve ended things
