a lot of texas high school football weight rooms put that to shame. i really expected a lot more. i mean, what's there looks nice and all, but goodness it really shows how far behind hockey is compared to football

Well, they have 20 dudes versus... 150 teenagers. When's the last time a high school football team had a sauna?

i mean sure, but that's kind of my point. high school facilities in football rival this professional setting. and that's not even talking college.

idk specifically about a sauna, but that didn't look much bigger than the ones you can buy from costco

It's a gym how nice does it need to be? Sure, it ain't NFL team facilities, or even top tier college ball facilities but the sheer amount of money and people going through those places kind of necessitate both some scale and nicety.

Here's the Rangers one:

Here's the Cowboys on a drone tour:

Yeah, hockey isn't big, but does it need to be big?

A lot of Texas high school weight rooms are also overdone because dipshits care more about football than they do education.

My money is on JRob getting moved. His agent is going to point to Mikko’s contract and there’s no way Jim Nill pays 2 wingers that kind of money. JRob will be at peak value this off-season, perfect time to cash out.

wouldn't think it needs to be big, just doesn't look like enough stations for 23 guys. they all practice the same time, it'd stand to reason that if they're working out at the facility, they're likely going to do it at similar times.

maybe that's not the case, idk. but to @MrHeiskanen 's point, they probably aren't lifting a ton during the season anyway

Yeah I don't think they do much weight training, mobility and bike would be my guess. Most off days you are skating/practicing and cooling off on the bike. Most NHL guys are not muscular at all.
