Robertson-Hintz-Wyatt
Marchment-Duchene-Bourque
Benn-Granlund-Stankoven
Steel-Back-Dadonov

Seguin returning is a Big if for me, but if he does he obviously slots into the 2nd Line and Bourque to the 4th line.

Yea if we acquire another forward, I'd take that as a sign we won't see Seguin again this year

Wouldn't mind Nyquist or a more physical 4th line guy

I’d rather have a big bulldog bottom line guy over Nyquist. We have plenty of scoring threats now.

Trent Frederick from the Bruins would be an interesting watch. 6'3 plays with a tough edge. But plays a good role and contributes to some offense (minor).

UFA this season, Boston have said they need to get younger. They don't have a 2nd Rd pick this year.

If we are targeting any other forward (no idea of we are), I think he would be a point of difference forward

He'd be a great add, but tough to see the Bruins selling.

If the Stars can win tomorrow they will be 2nd in the West and 3rd in the NHL.

Technically they are already there now with pts%. But always nice to see it in actual points.

Given the adversity faced so far Would be quite a statement on what this team is made of.

? What adversity have they face beside Heiskanen going down? And that literally just happened, the next few weeks will be the real test

Really?

2/3 out of your 2nd line injured for 15 games + each.

Your top offensive player struggling after an off season surgery and being snake bit for 2 months.

Having multiple AHL players filling spots through the line up through the season.

Yeh, that's adversity to get through. It's not season of death stuff, but to be 2nd in the west through that is impressive

Seguin out for the season, Marchment out for over a month now? At the time of their injuries they formed the Stars best line. I'd say that's adversity
Meh, I guess, that's fair, but it was a hot start that was bound to fizzle out. I guess because I expected their production to crater anyway I forgot they've been out for a while now.

Curious as to what our line combos will look like. Does PDB play him with Duchene (what wing did he play in NSH?) or if he’ll have him center the 3rd line line with a young Stankoven on his RW.

Took a look at SJ lines in previous games and had Smith, 19 years old, on his RW. Not sure who he’s regularly played but if he’s been just shy of a PPG playing with younger wingers a Bourque-Granlund-Stankoven line could be a good 3rd to try out.

It's an interesting situation. He and Duchene are both pass-first players so idk if there's really a fit there.

I could see him with Dadonov and Stankoven. Steel back down to the 4th line

Don't read to much into his SJ numbers, he's flourished in the preferential deployment that SJ being bad allows, it won't translate the same here.

With Stank and dadonov is probably the best fit

Marchment very close to returning soon too, maybe recreate the 3rd line with Marchment-Granlund-Stankoven...

Till Marchment is ready for 2nd line minutes back with duchene...
Eave everything else the same (Sam Smith to 4th line)

Granlund was 3rd on the Sharks in shots.

His ozone start % was 52.4 which is lower than say what the Marchment-Duchene-Seguin line gets.

Having some beers and trying to figure the lineup and man we’re deep with forwards; wish I could say the same for the defense.

Started with what I see being the best way to center the four lines, then chemistry amongst players, etc.

Robertson - Hintz - Johnston
Marchment - Duchene - Bourque
Benn - Granlund - Stankoven
Steel - Back - Dadonov
Blackwell

Harley - Lyubushkin
Lindell - Ceci
Bischel - Smith/Dumba
*Heiskanen

Agree with letting Marchment getting some games in on the 3rd and keeping Benn w/Duchene to start. The defense will be just seeing who’s playing better with who.
