eh not like someone died. besides, at that point, the ppl who are still there are the die hards anyway. why not give them something to entertain since obviously the game is sucking?

I disagree. The people that are still there and are singing to a singalong when we are losing badly are probably just there to get drunk and are not diehard fans lol.

One singalong only when the team HAS A LEAD in the 3rd. It should be at a predictable juncture so that eventually it can be entirely fan driven without the in-arena cue.

He’s been saying it’s quiet from his side. Not sure if we are going to get much reporting until we actually make a trade. We’ll see though. I’m anxious

Why don't you guys (the hardcore match going fans) start some sort of association to organise this stuff yourselves instead of relying on hired staff? I'm sure they would listen to requests when it comes to what songs to play and at what time. I'm obviously from a very different fan culture but I don't see why it can't work in the US.
 
Stranges is mentioned here as one of the 9

He won't have much value I'd imagine. Especially given his own organization doesn't seem to value him much either

I once was able to get Grubes to play this in a game, though he cut it off right before the vocals.

Not getting a chance this season despite the injuries. Passed up on depth chart by undrafted college free agent who is undersized as well. They'll call-up anybody over him at this point

Maybe they value him, but certainly more evidence that they don't intend on him being a future part of this team. He's not super valuable either way to be fair, but he's earned his shot as much as any of these other guys (somehow Hryckowian got 2 shots despite the first being awful?)

At the very least, you'd think the organization would want to see if there's anything there.

I feel like Stranges is at the point he'd benefit more from big minutes in the AHL. We haven't really been hurt by having warm bodies like Blumel in the lineup, Stranges is getting much more play time. He's also a wee little lad, he's gonna need to prove himself a bit more than larger players. He'll probably get a shot next season, as long as they don't feel like we're too small. Right now, PDB thinks we're too small.

Stranges is playing in his first full AHL season and finally found consistency to his game... meanwhile Hryckowian found immediate success jumping from the NCAA to the AHL. There's not a ton to be gained to remove Stranges from a situation that's working to pair him up with Back and Blackwell.

Exactly, took him three years to find anything in the AHL which doesn't equal an automatic call up. Also he is the furthest thing from a 4th line player so it's also pointless to call him up to play there.

But we had 3 top 6 players out at once due to injury for a few games and the worst powerplay in the NHL. Wouldn't have been too crazy to give him a shot imo. It's not how this team operates though, I know. And highly unlikely they'd give him a top 6 shot either way as the other guys didn't see that either when they came up

Oh well, doesn't matter. My point remains, he doesn't have much value to anyone I wouldn't think. He won't get a chance here until maybe preseason I suppose

Maybe when Hintz was out, but it would have been between Steel and Stranges I guess? Kinda hard not to take Steel, maybe one more injury then he gets a shot up there because the rest of the guys are useless as well.

Dumba was never going anywhere. Pete is showing his hand. Look at the past three games. Nils was scratched cause Pete wants more “size” on the backend. Lundkvist won’t be playing in the playoffs. For Nils sake I hope he gets a chance elsewhere. Smaller defenders do make it in this league just not under DeBoer.

Yeah it definitely wouldn't have been more than a test run. I think honestly the call-ups were based more around guys who would actually maybe work in a NHL playoff game. If we weren't a deep team offensively/weren't a playoff team then maybe Stranges gets a shot, but we'd have to be pretty desperate
