Why would Boston even consider this?

It makes no sense for either team. Why would the Ducks give up an almost certain top 5 pick to get another goalie when they have Dostal ready to play now and Clara on the way?

I think this Fabbri pick-up could be a really shrewd move by Pat. He's looked like one of our better forwards almost every pre-season game he's been in, and he will probably be playing against similar level competition in the regular season assuming he's on the third line

Steeves seems like he could be a solid bottom sixer if given an opportunity. High effort guy, can play all three forward positions and has some scoring knack.

Patera is not good. Copley is on waivers too. Got to think Copley or Reimer gets claimed just to be a stop gap until Gibson is back.

Shepard or Bussi would be my top choices. Two guys with great AHL numbers that haven’t been given a chance in the NHL. Bussi would probably be my pick since he’s a few inches taller than Shepard.
