Why would Boston even consider this?

It makes no sense for either team. Why would the Ducks give up an almost certain top 5 pick to get another goalie when they have Dostal ready to play now and Clara on the way?

Boston wants to win now. Why would they take a massive downgrade in goal? That first does them no good now.

I feel like the team needs to be a lot better before we even consider trading any first round picks. Not being out of playoff contention by mid November would be a nice start.

Edit: looked at a random page of articles from around the draft/free agency, and quite literally every single one by this author never happened, or were ever even mentioned as a possibility by someone reputable.
