HC Venom played surprisingly well in Watertown, building a 5-2 lead in the 3rd period before the Wolves trimmed the score to 5-4. HCV held on, and now will have a week to find a practice facility to get ready for their next rescheduled game.

More Fed Trivia from Friday night play ... The Continental Division's 1st place Baton Rouge head coach Everett Thompson received a bench minor misconduct penalty in the 3rd period game vs. Monroe, and was ejected. So the Zydeco equipment manager Keith LaCour had to take over coaching duties for just under half of the final regulation period & the OT session & the shootout. Final Score in this episode of the "Battle of Louisiana" = Moccasins 4 - Zydeco 3 (SO)
