Then and there
Bit of the same stuff in the Hoffenheim - Lyon match.

After falling behind, Lyon became more dangerous once Cherki and Lacazette entered after an hour. Both were heavily involved in the buildup of the equalizer and then Lacazette scored what looked like being a winner on the 93rd minute. But Hoffenheim still had enough time left and made it 2-2 couple of minutes later.

I had a former student play at Chelsea yesterday.
Was a complete Phenom at 12 years old as CM, signed with Nantes, developped there, was placed as 10 at 18,exploded as best passer and best scorer of the U19 French league but was never given playing time at Nantes and stalled for two years. Lost two full years of development in the mess and changing coaches at Nantes.
In the end he chose to walk away and sign with an Armenian club (he has Armenian origins).
It's really sad that he was clearly among the top young french talents at 18 but his mess of a club prevented him from finishing his development.

...and the international press will describe them as victims this time too.

Only news I saw here in the Czech Republic was how Bibi was sending planes to bring home the poor supporters who were the victims of racist attacks. Figured there was more to it but that's all we got here

These things are never just one thing. My guess is that you had Israeli hooligans who went out there, acted like complete jerkoffs, offended everyone in sight and subsequently got walloped along with a combination of anti-Israel people who were going to roam and look/start trouble no matter what. Add in a healthy dose of innocent folks caught in the middle of it and you get this.

A lot of Hamas lovers in Spain, including in the government, I don't blame them too much.

Says the guy who once pondered why Muslims don't change their names if they don't want to be harassed.

And once cried about people IRL shunning him for his views.

lol

Same here in Finland. But they did mention the booing during the moment of silence and using flares in the stands.

And people saying there was more to it are called the A word.

Icardi will be out for months with a torn ACL. If Gala lose Osimhen in the January transfer window, they will surely need replacement attackers.

Your normal hooligan stuff randomly accosting people on the street and making sure they're Jews before they punch them in the face:

Here's your humanitarians making sure they're beating a Jew (unclear if a Maccabi supporter) before knocking him out even after he said he isn't:

Here's them accosting a random Ukrainian on the street demanding a passport:

Just standard hooligan stuff!

No surprise it's the...usual suspects in here cheering.

No doubt it wouldn't have been entirely safe for the fans to go out alone at night in Maccabi gear even without any issues from their part, but the fact is that they did go for maximal provocation and everything that followed happened in that context. Obviously that's not a reason for unrelated people to get caught in the middle, but the footballing consequence of this should be an away game ban for all Maccabi fans for at least this and next seasons.

Roma ultras were literally stabbing people and didn’t get a season’s UEFA away ban.

Oh, certainly no surprise on that usual suspect defending stopping random people on the street to check if they’re a Jew before beating them.

Random people harassing random people on the street is not a footballing matter, of course if any other organized fan groups were involved they should face consequences as well. But what we have here is vile behavior by Maccabi fans and some random locals that likely didn't even go to the match.

There are 6000 jews in Amsterdam. Weirdly enough, they don't get beaten down.

But hey, let's support those hooligans, their horrible racists chants, booing respectful behaviour, insulting locals based on the fact they're the same religion as simpletons on internet websites.
