Boomer complaints
I had to put that bloke on my ignore list and I am not a boomer. I don't mind banter, I don't mind Arsenal hate, but just copying and posting every effing tweet he finds like a mindless machine is the definition of annoying and spamming like Jussi did with Frenkie de Jong Fiasco.

Have a thought once in your life, and put it in a word format. I disagree with 99% of what Savant says, but I have great respect because he puts his thoughts and arguments in a discussion. What this bloke is doing is instant dopamine release.

There's still a Chelsea striker crisis and problems.

You can't blame only their strikers anymore.

The team gotta a new identity and a new playing style.

Person non grata wasn’t all bad I guess

Another only Mo Salah!

But yeah the Enzo thing; Pochettino’s usage of him was criminal. I said this before and it still applies - I don’t know how good of a manager that Maresca is or isn’t, but he recognized pretty quickly to tell Enzo to forget what Pochettino told him to do. These numbers going to be high for Enzo because a lot of his game is spamming through balls, but he very clearly has been deployed a lot better this season.

Also let’s give a shout out to Luis Diaz this year. Been playing out of position for most of the year, had a weird middle of the season, but had managed to comfortably be the second best forward on a title winning team. Other teams will say they didn’t have a forward most of the seasons; guess what - neither did LFC. They managed.

Bruno is the only thing that kept United alive this season. Damsgaard has definitely been one of those post hype breakouts. He should get a move this summer. That Brentford team is legit. I read that their front three (not Damsgaard but he pulls a lot of those strings) is second only to LFC’s in terms of output; which is wild to consider

Disagreeing with people is okay!

To be fair, it wasn't on-field play that made him persona non grata

He's been really good this season, a serious step-up. Especially when Cole started to stutter, Enzo really stepped up to drive the offense. He doesn't have the same cutting edge that Palmer does, so we were less sharp when things were going increasingly through Enzo. But he has definitely gone up a serious level, and Maresca has done a better job (not a perfect job, but a better job) tactically to paper over his defensive positioning issues. I've been really very impressed by Fernandez, especially since the turn of the year.

All in all, if I were to rank our players this season, Caicedo is a comfortable #1 and Cole and Enzo are a joint #2.

Chelsea fans have been complaining about his play for the majority of his time there. I really doubt they would care ( the average fan) about his racist song.

For the majority of his time (the first 1.5 seasons), there have been reasons to complain! He'd been frustrating, whether it be through being invisible or being very streaky.

It clearly took time for him to settle in, but he's very much found a groove and has become a pretty essential player to the set-up (especially in terms of build-up). He offers something we haven't had since Cesc.

At least on this board, it generally feels like you're boxing with shadows re: Enzo, because the Chelsea fans here have been pretty praising of his step-up this season.
