So if he doesn’t want to wear it, fine. That doesn’t mean that the whole team should change their plans. If he wants to stand out as being the only one not wearing it, let him stand out.Nobody should be forced to wear something they don’t believe in
The same people that complain about the rainbows won’t say a peep about the gambling. Hell Mazraoui plays for a team that literally has a devil on its crest. If he doesn’t want to wear the rainbow he shouldn’t have to, but also these people need to stop pretending it’s about religion. One guy not wanting to do it shouldn’t be blocking everyone else from doing it. And they certainly shouldn’t be martyred for it eitherWonder how people would feel if a player refused to play for the 11 PL teams that have gambling companies as their main shirt sponsor due to a religious opposition to gambling.

Would you take this tact if United had a gay player and Mazroui refused to take the pitch with him? Would you say “no one should force him” either?Nobody should be forced to wear something they don’t believe in
Jerry's at the wheel!“Jerry Jones names himself Director of Football”
Gay people aren't something that you believe in. They are a fact of life. The campaign is saying that gay people shouldn't be harassed for being gay. Which, if Mazraoui firmly believes gay people should be subject to targeted harassment, he should say it with his whole chest and rightfully be called out as a bigot.Nobody should be forced to wear something they don’t believe in
Or, alternatively, if a United player refused to wear a warmup kit that said Islamophobia is bad?Would you take this tact if United had a gay player and Mazroui refused to take the pitch with him? Would you say “no one should force him” either?
Man United has an official gambling partner and an official wine partner, but I guess Mazraoui decided to draw the line at saying that harassing gay people is wrong.Wonder how people would feel if a player refused to play for the 11 PL teams that have gambling companies as their main shirt sponsor due to a religious opposition to gambling.
Just to be clear, then, if the team chose to wear a warm up top that said "I Support Pedophiles," you would have no issue with it because it is their choice?it was their choice
Nothing wrong with that

Yeah, it would suck to be subjected to targeted harassment. They should have a campaign about that. Perhaps they could focus on minority groups that are often subject to targeted harassment. One such group that comes to mind is gay people.Apparently the other players turned it down in end because they didn't want Mazraoui to become targeted.

A United statement to The Athletic read: “Manchester United welcomes fans from all backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, and we are strongly committed to the principles of diversity and inclusion.
“We demonstrate these principles through a range of activities, including support for our Rainbow Devils supporters’ club, and campaigns to celebrate our LGBTQ+ fans and combat all forms of discrimination.
“Players are entitled to hold their own individual opinions, particularly in relation to their faith, and these may sometimes differ from the club’s position.”
This year, United were only planning a walk-out jacket but Morocco international Mazraoui, a £15m summer signing from Bayern Munich, told his team-mates he was not prepared to wear the outfit, citing his Muslim faith as the reason. The team then decided that no players would wear the tracksuit so that Mazraoui would not be the only one seen publicly to be refusing to wear it. The decision was taken a matter of hours before the game on Sunday.
Ask his wife and kid.How does Bruno feel about a teammate not supporting his sexuality?
