So the one coach I would've been comfortable hiring immediately to replace Cronin was Todd McLellan. After his takeover in the Wings bench they lost his 1st game.. and they're now about to win their sixth straight. So that's neat.

Also in my academic paper called "tales of never-ending bitterness" I make a case Detroit hasn't suffered enough yet, nor will have they ever. At least until we get to playoffs as well, so stay out of the playoffs Mr Koala Bear.
I’d love to read “tales of never-ending bitterness” especially if there is a whole chapter of red wing hate. Is there also a Red Sox hate chapter ?

Would have be funny just for the fact he'd have coached every Californian team.

I think the Nashville Predators have taken over as most hated team. The Red Wings I can at least respectfully dislike them but the Predators are just complete bushleague divers. Those 2010s predators teams were built to beat the Ducks in the playoffs but they were not built to win the stanley cup, felt like they had no business going to the finals even once.

With Terry back I see no problem with scratching Nesterenko, especially with Colangelo being more deserving. It’s not like they scratched him for Johnston.
Big Tom Wilson has legit turned down fights v boss Ross Johnston a few times in their past. I like boss Ross drawing in here

I dunno about that. Does this mean Colangelo will be stuck on the fourth line again? If so, then I'd rather have Nesterenko on the fourth line than Colangelo. Nesterenko fits better on the 4th line with his speed and hitting.

Would imagine Terry coming back bumps Fabbri back to the McTavish line and Leason back to the fourth line. Colangelo shouldn't need to be moved from the Leo line.

I totally forgot he was promoted to the Carlsson line! Thanks for reminding me. Then, yes, let Colangelo stick in an offensive role. I'm giddy to see what more Colangelo can do.

Looks like @Firequacker was thinking what I was. I think Colangelo deserves an extended look with Carlsson.

I split the last 25 games into 5-game sets. The 4 wins out of 5 games against the Oil, Devils, Jets, and Bolts really do look like an outlier.
