Then and there
Man City will play against PSG, Inter and Juve, so two Italian opponents.

Leipzig gets a bunch of tough matches whilst Dortmund's matches are easier on paper, and same goes for Barca. Rematch of the last final, too.

Real Madrid probably faces more difficult opponents than they wanted, but they can blame Cristiano Ronaldo (sort of).

Wow PSG with the absolutely disgusting draw of course.
Bayern, City, Arsenal, Atletico, Salzburg, PSV, Girona, Stuttgart.

Ridiculous

Yeah, to get both Arsenal and Atletico from pot 2 is unfortunate.

Arsenal has a very favourable set of matches. Not bad for Milan. 15 pts is possible, which should be enough to qualify into top8 (and 1st knockout round bye).

City and Bayern too. Arguably the 2 toughest from pot 1, the two toughest from pot 2. And some of the toughest from pot 3 and 4.

Brest with the easiest draw from French teams :)
They actually could do something. Even though they'll be awful.

Monaco face Benfica, Barca, Red Star, Dinamo, inter, Villa and Bologna,
Not easy but could be through.

PSG has the toughest draw of any team. By very far IMO.

Chelsea started well, Veiga's long lob bounced favourably to Mudryk, who was brought down inside the box. Nkunku emphatically shot the PK home with power.

Today Veiga has produced as hoped for, providing some nice forward passes after cutting into middle of the pitch. Especially one time when he found Nkunku, but he was denied by the keeper. Enzo had some nice moments early on, but faded towards the end of half. Madueke and Guiu had one good play each, but eventually no goal on either occasion.

Defence has been slightly off at times and lack of concentration, as Chelsea controlled the ball quite a lot. Disasi and Badiashile lost at times, and Veiga caught too high up, out of position. Like in the goal which Servette scored, Veiga was nowhere to be seen and Badiashile couldn't block the shot and Jorgensen couldn't save it.

1-1 at half time. Chelsea can't allow same type of collapse like last week towards the end of 2nd half.

Mudryk has looked much better today. Not out of control

KDH has looked the same in every game. 80% player. He's got a bit of skill, good short bursts, striking ability, passing ability. But the stuff just doesn't come consistently. Things die at his feet even though he's seeing the right things and getting into the right positions.

Right as I say that, he fumbles a pass that should have been tapped in 8 yards front of goal

Yeah, I think he is OK player as a back up and provide some rotation relief in lower level cup matches like this.

Incredible game between Lens and Pana.
Lens missing a pen, tons of chances, saved on the line, etc...
Pana scoring in their two chances with the ball rolling though players' legs etc...
f***ing game of destiny. Scripted like the worst FM scenarios.

Jorgensen and Benoit shocker and it's 2-1 servette

Funny how some of these goals have had the exact same pattern. Let down by the ST, ball goes quickly the other way and no one gets stuck in or tactically fouls, and benoit as last man f***s up.

Difference here being jorgensen has had an absolute nightmare and totally f***ed up the second goal

I really wanted to watch the match, and see Madueke's newfound form, but unfortunately I couldn't find any English language stream and my German's scheisse
