Seems like Leevi had his first bad game in a while. I would still say give him the call.

Edit looks like they called up Leevi. That’s the benefit of having a fresh pair of eyes in the org they can see past draft position and aren’t pulling for one guy over another

Halliday 🔥

Keep it going

I love those uni's!

Respect for acknowledgement of the Bulls.

I have liked Halliday since he was drafted and he has been a dark horse, breakout candidate for a while. He needs a few more big games to keep creeping to PPG, but his style can translate to the big league.

His vision and touch are above average IMO.

He has to keep pushing it... upping his pace a little and lead .. it would be oh so nice to have a diamond in the rough that has enough talent

He is Batherson light with those soft hands and touches. If he can develop into a guy we can put in the 3rd line to produce 35-45 points a season then its a massive success.

If he can improve his foot speed and up his pace, he'll make it. Imo he glides too much for today's NHL

I’m not even talking about hitting but getting involved/winning board battles.
Yep. He will need to be more involved on the forecheck and cycling, etc...

Sounds like the coaching staff has identified that as well. I recall hearing them mention he needs to use his size as the advantage it is and just be in the mix more.
