Yess, but he have the talent and hard work in his game to become that. Same qualities of Demidov.
I take Hage being a future 1st line C with a huge grain of salt at this juncture in his amateur career. As you state, though, his work ethic, to go along with what is obvious talent against his peers right now, is promising.

Whether Hage becomes a C or a winger at the NHL level, it will be a huge win for us if he becomes a top-6 player.

With Caufield, Demidov, Slafkovsky and Laine as potential top-6 players already ion the system, Hage becoming a top-6 Center would be HUGE

Always better to see prospects have good stats, even though we are never sure how that talent will translate at the NHL level.

Easier to expect prospects to keep sucking at the NHL level if they already suck at lower levels. :)

What were Newhook numbers after 15 games ?

6g 6a 12pts in 15 games.

But the difference is Boston College had a better team and Newhook was much better surrounded than either Caufield and Hage. He finished the season with more points than Caufield. There's a difference of doing great because of teammates in the NCAA. Neither Hage nor Caufield had good teammates like Newhook had. It helped Newhook a whole lot.

Hage could help the Habs overcome the failed Dach experiment

100%

Newhook ended up being the leading scorer on that team with 42 points in 34 games, but there were 4 players scored over a point a game with Matt Boldy being the 5th best scorer on that team.

If you compare this with Hage, he doesn't have the same scoring support and overall forward depth. He's the straw that stirs the drink on this team

Could Beck challenge for a top six spot?

Could Beck challenge for a top six spot?
At 20, there’s still growth in Beck’s game to be had. If Beck get’s a bit stronger, he will easily challenge for a top 6 position. He’s already leads Laval in points and plays in all game situations.
