Opportunity knocking for Sully. Could use another savvy, veteran bottom sixer.Ooooh nooooo
Imama and Aho on waivers. I think that means no mcgrorarthy in the NHL.
Not really…Shea had a better camp and he’s young…Aho sucks…wonder if this mean Brunicke made the team?
Wow surprising, Aho is the one that ended up on waivers rather than Shea. No Puustinen on waivers though.
how do you figure?Imama and Aho on waivers. I think that means no mcgrorarthy in the NHL.

didnt think ir was possible. but if someone goes on LITR it worksI don't see a single reason to keep Brunicke up. Not enough NHL minutes to justify it.
The only way he would have stayed up was for a 9 game trial if Karlsson was hurt. But since he's healthy, I don't see why they'd keep him up. The only way that could change is if they assign St. Ivany to the AHL.
I mean maybe…it’s unusual for Sullivan to keep 14 forwards but maybe because of injuries…No Lizotte is starting the year on IR.
They're likely starting with:
O'Connor-Crosby-Rust
Bunting-Malkin-Rakell
McGroarty-Eller-Puljujarvi
Beauvillier-Hayes-Acciari
Glass-Puustinen
Pettersson-Karlsson
Grzelcyk-Letang
Graves-St. Ivany
Shea
Jarry-Blomqvist
IR: Nedjelkovic, Lizotte and Ponomarev
Brunicke re-assigned to the WHL

Same. Was never a fan of Shea last season either tho.I don’t see why you keep Shea over Aho.
Yeah seems like they liked Aho enough to give him 2 years and even waive Ludvig first.Same. Was never a fan of Shea last season either tho.
Flabbergasted the Isles waived Bolduc. It makes infinitely too much sense to claim him as a clear upgrade to our left side to hold out any hope we actually will.
Wow surprising, Aho is the one that ended up on waivers rather than Shea. No Puustinen on waivers though.
They sent Ludvig down first in the hopes that he would pass through waivers, kind of like they did with Zohorna a couple years ago. He didn't. That's the risk.Yeah seems like they liked Aho enough to give him 2 years and even waive Ludvig first.

There seem to be just too many forwards in the league. You could probably fill out a whole forward group of waiver claims that are viable NHL talent. Pelletier, Fagemo, Poulin, Engvall, etc.
Has anyone hired Hextall in any capacity since the Pens fired him?So much for the Canes doing anything with Ty Smith. What an awful trade that was. Jersey got 2 2nds for Marino and we couldn't even get one for him.

Aho is on a two year deal at the league minimum. He only got one right?
Ty Smith has a new job.Heard he’s an assistant manager at a Kinkos
