You and BeefStock up there should go out and get a beer sometime.Have we trade Mittlejost yet ?
Pettersson is clearly not healthy, and no, I don't believe anyone--not even Pettersson himself--when they say otherwise. Whatever it is, it's caused him to lose a step and it's clearly affecting his entire game.

Injuries can linger, both Vancouver and Colorado are well familiar with this phenomenon. Demko's already been told whatever's bothering him will never heal completely.Nah, it's been too long
Canucks vs. Predators: What's wrong with Elias Pettersson?
The Vancouver Canucks' star hasn't scored through the first five games of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Read moretheprovince.com
He's been a completely different player for the last 2 seasons despite the point total (which still dropped, too).Injuries can linger, both Vancouver and Colorado are well familiar with this phenomenon. Demko's already been told whatever's bothering him will never heal completely.
It’s basically been a full season’s worth of games now. And no, he doesn’t just look different, the stats back it up.He's been a completely different player for the last 2 seasons despite the point total (which still dropped, too).
Mental issues is much more likely than a lingering injury IMO.

And that’s not the only guy who’s pointed out that his skating and shot are significantly hampered. It’s very clear he’s not healthy, problem is he may have been told that rest won’t make it any better which is almost worse than just a plain ol’ injury that can be fixed via rehab/surgery.
EP’s play fell off a cliff the moment he got his extension. Perhaps he got injured or something around that same time but I can’t help but attribute his poor play to how little he cares based on everything you hear around him.
It’s legit out there that the reason JT Miller and EP don’t get along is because JTM wants everybody to give 110% and EP simply doesn’t do that. Miller calls him out and Pettersson doesn’t like that.
Mack is friends with Mittelstadt?Lol, MacK is going to force a trade to Pittsburgh if we keep trading his friends. Only way you trade Casey right now is for Crosby.
Otherwise stfu lol
Mack is friends with Mittelstadt?
They've been on the ice together consistently doing drills at optional practices, and both work with the same skills coach in the offseason. Can't remember the name.
So maybe not, but they're together a lot lol.
Mikko Rantanen may have the 5th most points in the NHL over the last 5 years. Buuuuttt what if we traded him for this guy that just got a huge extension and has been really disappointing since signing it instead??Now we need to get him so we can lament about how Cale and Elias need surgery all season

Who would you target with a 1st and goulash? Was my thoughts as well.
If we're trading Goulash AND a 1st together, we better be trading for one real solid player, not two meh players.
454 points vs 372 points. Pettersson isn't doing bad in points. From what I hear it's his recent play that's been troubling.Mikko Rantanen may have the 5th most points in the NHL over the last 5 years. The last 5 seasons(per quanthockey at least) is 415(321 games) to 306(297games) to Mikko who's 4th in the NHL in that span. The difference between the two is a 106pt average vs an 84pt player. The difference in points is actually quite massive.454 points vs 372 points. Pettersson isn't doing bad in points. From what I hear it's his recent play that's been troubling.

Well he was the 1C on that team until Miller showed up and has just objectively been a better and more impactful player than EP. EP is good don't get me wrong. Mikko is just a significantly better player than EP.NHL Stats

Both are correct, yours is only 4 full seasons plus current.
Pettersson points are also put up with less ice time, worse teammates and worse team. He's also a center.
