Sanheim was part of the nixed trade involving Hayes a couple years back, but seems like Flyers decided to resign him for big dollars and long term. Why would they consider trading him? He plays so many minutes for them

Due to his age no aligning with their rebuild and option to get a blue-chip. I’d be willing to add, but think it’s a reasonable starting point.

Bruins players gave up on the coach they didn’t all turn to pumpkins over night. Also, lol at getting rid of the highest win % coach over the last two years for Joe Sacco.

A line of Drouin - Sid - Mack would go crazy, but it'll never happen. Likely after Mikko walks, next year it'll be:

Drouin - Mack - Nuke
Rosco - Mitts - Lehky

Also, CapWages finally moved Nuke to the active roster.

Nah you still gotta run Mack and Sid down the middle IMO.

They'd get to play PP together but Center their own lines. Obviously we're talking pure fantasy here but something like:

Drouin - Mack - Nuke
Lehky - Crosby - Mikko
Colton - Mitts - Landeskog

Would be an absolutely insane Top 9. And tbh I think if the Avs got Crosby with 50% retention or even 75% retained as @Cousin Eddie suggested, I think they could make this work under the cap.
