He's had 56, 52, and 47 point seasons the last three years while playing extremely difficult competition every night.

He is a top-10 defenseman in this league.

Sanheim was part of the nixed trade involving Hayes a couple years back, but seems like Flyers decided to resign him for big dollars and long term. Why would they consider trading him? He plays so many minutes for them

Due to his age no aligning with their rebuild and option to get a blue-chip. I’d be willing to add, but think it’s a reasonable starting point.
