Looking up stats after a game in Feburary 1997..
Am I having a stroke or are you all just making up names.
That haircut was so badYou don't remember future franchise goalie Vitaly Kolesnik?
Loved his game so muchNext thing you'll be pining for made up names like Antti Laaksonen.
As a child I don't remember him being that low in the rotation. Actually I can only remember Foote, Ozo, and Lefebvre from that year.Probably Sylvain Lefebvre!
Do you ever assume someone is slipping in a cpu generated player name just to see if anyone will notice?
Plenty of top 6 C's have changed teams recently. The Avs simply chose to be cheap with half measures after Kadri.Crazy to think, there was a time when Bennett could have been had for very little. And Zacha could have been had for a song.
That sounds like something Sami Helenius would say.
You guys sound like very sauer individuals . Yelle it out you’ll feel better .Better than playing 4 games of softball with Jeff FInger.
Or Anders MyrvoldNext thing you'll be pining for made up names like Antti Laaksonen.

Gotta admit. That was pretty Suave. You darn Tyutin!
Is nobody else more intrigued about Zibanejad?
Agreed . Pretty Cool-eshov (Kuleshov)Gotta admit. That was pretty Suave.

Looks to me like he's just having a down year, with lower ice time (1-2mins less than the last two years); and a career low 8.8% shooting %. Maybe he's been mailing it in a little bit but NYR have been an absolute circus behind the scenes this year which has probably contributed somewhat to that.

The Avs love to target players with some playoff experience and he definitely ticks that box, being almost PPG in his career in the playoffs:

The biggest two hurdles are probably his full NMC, as well as the fact that his contract is heavy in salary bonuses which is something the Avs historically avoided until recently with the Landeskog and Nichushkin deals.

Zibanejad adores NYC. He will never waive. Is nobody else more intrigued about Zibanejad?

Zibby isn't really being offered though... and that is exactly the type of move I expect CMac to ulitmately make. Not Zibby, but someone nobody is talking about. I've got no idea who it might be, but I'm pretty sure I'll be surprised when it first breaks. It might not be my first choice but it’s something I would consider.
You guys Worrell too much about our chances this season
IOW, we’ve incompetent boobs in charge.Plenty of top 6 C's have changed teams recently. The Avs simply chose to be cheap with half measures after Kadri.
Eichel was available. JT Miller was twice available. Trocheck was available. Zacha. Kadri. Pinto. Dubois. Horvat. Lindholm. Hayes. Stephenson. Danault. Bennett. O'Reilly. Mittelstadt. Hertl. Gourde. Monahan. Giroux. Copp. Granlund. Domi.
Ugh! That’s like the F equivalent of Nemeth. Can we dare not speak their names again?Zibby isn't really being offered though... and that is exactly the type of move I expect CMac to ulitmately make. Hope my heart can take the return of... you guessed it... Alex Kerfoot.
The future looks Bleackley for this team. You guys Worrell too much about our chances this season

He was the first opposing depth player I wished we had that we actually got. Really liked his game.Next thing you'll be pining for made up names like Antti Laaksonen.
